2025 Martin Luther King Concert - Higher Ground: A Tribute to Stevie Wonder
Kennebunk’s 22nd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Event - Featuring the music of Stevie Wonder, presented by the 14 musicians of Higher Ground, with MLK readings by KHS students, and benefiting the musical "Black Kid Joy."
On January 19, 2025, FPUU will host the 14 musicians of "Higher Ground" - a tribute to Stevie Wonder in the Sanctuary (upstairs) at 114 Main St. in Kennebunk. This is sure to be a fantastic event, so don't delay in getting tickets!
We encourage you to purchase tickets in advance through this website prior to arrival, although tickets will be available at the door for any last-minute attendees, provided there is space available.
In addition to the music, there will be some readings of MLK's works from students at Kennebunk High School.
Proceeds will be shared with an upcoming musical performance of "Black Kid Joy."
