THE PROGRAM:
First Parish has celebrated the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday since 2003, offering a program for the community. This year we continue the tradition with the event taking place on-line, or in-person at the UU Church sanctuary with a social gathering after the program completion. We are so excited about holding this event in person again, after two years on-line, especially since it’s our 20th anniversary.
Here’s what you can expect. Our minister, the Rev. Lara K-J Campbell, will welcome everyone. She will introduce musician, Christopher Staknys, who will open the program with a musical offering before the keynote speech.
Q & A: Rev. Lara will give us an opportunity from the in-person participants, and via Zoom Chat, to ask questions after the speech.
